Live translation in Meta glasses

The sermon in their language, right in their glasses.

Anyone wearing Meta glasses can hear your service translated through the glasses' own speakers. With Meta Ray-Ban Display, the translation also appears as live captions in the lens, so their eyes stay on the stage, not on a phone.

Every pair of Meta glasses

Hear it in any pair. Read it in Display.

Ray-Ban Meta, Oakley Meta and other Meta glasses

They connect to a phone like Bluetooth headphones, so the translation plays in the glasses' open-ear speakers. Pick a language on your church's listener page and press play. No extra app, no setup.

Meta Ray-Ban Display

Plays the translation the same way, and shows it as live captions in the right lens. The lens shows only the words, no menus or status lights, and older lines fade out above the newest one.

For the listener

Adding captions takes a minute

  1. Scan your church's QR code and choose a language, as usual.
  2. Tap Wearing Meta glasses?, then Add captions to my glasses. The Meta AI app opens and asks you to confirm. It labels the captions app “unverified” because it comes from your church's link rather than Meta's store. That's expected.
  3. Open it on your glasses. Captions appear as soon as the service is live.

Settings with a pinch

Pinch for settings on the glasses: the language, five text sizes, and whether captions sit at the top, middle or bottom of the lens. The phone that added the glasses can change the same settings from the listener page.

Captions of the original, too

Hard of hearing? Choose the language your pastor preaches in, and the lens shows captions of the message as it's spoken.

The iPhone app asks for you

In the free ChurchTranslator.AI app for iPhone, you don't have to look for any of this: when Meta glasses are playing your phone's audio, the app offers to use them. About the app →

For your church

Already part of your listener link

Nothing to set up

Meta glasses work with every church's listener link, on every plan, in every language your church offers.

Point people to it

Add ?glasses=1 to your listener link, on a slide or a printed QR code, and it opens straight to the glasses setup.

Captions only, nothing recorded

The glasses app shows text and nothing else. It never uses the glasses' camera or microphone.

Works alongside everything else

Phones, earbuds, the screens in your room and your livestream captions all keep working the same way. Glasses are one more way to follow along.
