Your team only
Seen only by people signed in to your church's dashboard:
- transcripts and AI sermon summaries;
- YouTube audio tracks made from a transcript;
- Audio Dubbing uploads and the dubbed tracks.
Anyone with your listener link
Your listener link needs no sign-in, so these are open to anyone who has it:
- the live service, captions and translated voice;
- Service Replay, for 24 hours after each service;
- meetings you translate in Zoom or Google Meet.
Transcripts and AI sermon summaries
A written record of each service in every language your listeners used, with a summary for your newsletter or archive. It's off until you turn it on.
Step 1: Turn it on
On the Transcripts & replay page, tick Enable transcripts and AI sermon summaries. It applies from your next service.
Step 2: Open a service
A service appears a few minutes after you stop streaming. Open it to see the AI sermon summary (a title, key points, scripture references and a newsletter paragraph) and the Transcript, one tab per language.
Step 3: Download what you need
Use Download .txt, Download .srt or Download .vtt. Subtitle timing follows the live captions, so line the file up against your service recording and shift it if needed.
- Kept for 90 days, then deleted automatically. Delete any service sooner with Delete transcript.
- Text only. Transcripts keep the caption text, not the audio.
- Only languages someone used. A language with no listeners during the service has no transcript.
- Everything that was captioned, songs included. Very short tests may not appear at all.
- Turning it off stops new transcripts. The ones you have stay until you delete them or they expire.
Churches with Studio Voice also see a YouTube audio tracks card in an open service: it makes a translated audio file per language for your stream replay. Those files are kept for 14 days after you make them (sooner if you delete the transcript), so download them soon.
Service Replay
Lets people play a service again, as listeners heard it, on your usual listener link: the translation with the room's sound underneath, or the room alone. It's off until you turn it on, and comes with the Growth plan and above.
Available for
24 hours
After the service ends. Then it's deleted.
Languages
As heard live
Each language someone listened to, plus the Original. Never made afterwards.
Worship
Left out
Worship songs are cut from every track.
Step 1: Turn it on
On the Transcripts & replay page, switch on Service replay. Pick a Default room sound: Off, Soft (recommended) or Louder. Each listener can change it on their phone.
Step 2: After the service
The service shows under Available now, first as Recording now, then Being prepared, then with its plays and the time left before it's deleted. Open the listener page ↗ to hear it as your congregation will.
Step 3: During the service, too
Listeners who arrive late can tap Listen from the beginning, go back, and return with Back to live.
Turning Service Replay off stops new recordings. A replay that's already up stays until it expires, unless you delete it.
Audio Dubbing
Dub a recording you already have, such as your livestream, into other languages, ready to add to the video as extra audio tracks. Audio Dubbing uses your Studio Voice; if your church doesn't have it yet, the Audio Dubbing page says how to get it.
Step 1: Upload the recording
On the Audio Dubbing page, click Choose recording…. An audio or video file up to 500 MB and 3 hours; for a video, its audio track is used. Pick the languages.
Step 2: Choose the sound and start
Leave Keep the original sound under the dub ticked to keep music and room sound underneath, quieter while the translation speaks. Click Start dubbing and keep the tab open while it uploads. The page shows how the job is billed before you start.
Step 3: Review every track before publishing
When the job says Done — review … before publishing, listen to each track all the way through. Its notes point out sentences that were skipped (silent in the track) and places where a longer translation runs behind the original.
Step 4: Download and publish
Click Download .m4a for each language and add the tracks to your video, following the YouTube steps on the Audio Dubbing page or our YouTube multi-language guide (PDF).
- Kept for 14 days: your upload and every dubbed track. Download what you need before then.
- Your team only: nothing from Audio Dubbing is published anywhere until you upload it yourself.
Deleting early
A transcript
Open the service and click Delete transcript. It removes every language, the AI summary and any audio tracks made from it. This can't be undone.
A replay
Click Delete now on the service under Available now.
A dubbing job
Click Delete (Cancel & delete while it runs). The upload and every track are removed.
Deleting your church's account removes all of it. Questions about your congregation's privacy? Email us; we're glad to help you explain it.
